These “fitness legging” work well, and can help relieve some pain and cramping. They’re cut with a curve, so they naturally form to fit around a calf/thigh/arm. They’re 24.5 inches in length, but only part of that is usable because the Velcro needs some overlap. So, about 21 inches is the maximum usable diameter. I like that the Velcro is the good kind that isn’t scratchy and doesn’t latch onto clothes as easily. But, the metallic silver color isn’t my favorite. Perhaps wearing these with the fleece side out might help to trap sweat and reduce water weight? If worn with the silver side in, then the max. diameter is closer to 19 inches, otherwise the Velcro will be chaffing the skin. The material has a slight bit of stretch, about 1 inch over the entire length. This is plenty to keep it in place.
