The media could not be loaded.Wanted a cool way to display my rods in my office/gear room and settled on these. I actually bought two sets of them, so I could fit all of my rods and have 3 holders. I wanted to fully support the rods and not let them sag. My saltwater reels are very heavy and will easily bend the rods if I just set it on either end. By using 3 holders per rod, there was no flex! For freshwater rods you should be okay, depending on the rod stiffness, but I would recommend 3!The areas where the rods rest were large enough to fit my large saltwater rods. I did have to find the sweet spot, sometimes like around the reel seat was perfect, where the rod handles were too thick. It is best to alternate directions of the rods so the reels are not stacking on top of each other.Overall, this was exactly what I was looking for when I wanted to mount my rods up on the wall. It was fairly easy to install, I spaced mine out based on my wall studs so I didn’t have it just held up with drywall. Super sturdy when you do it this way! Be sure to measure your rods and plan it out before hanging to ensure you have enough room!
