10th Anniversary All American Soap Box Derby Chevrolet 1947 Flocked T-Shirt This Soap Box Derby contest was held in Akron, Ohio by Chevrolet and other promotors for boys between 11-15 years of age. The owner of this shirt was born in the 1930’s. The shirt appears to be unworn.  This shirt is as found, including how it was folded. There is some staining on the shirt, possibly a button or pin mark from whatever it was stored on. Please see photos. There is no t-shirt label to give us the size of the shirt, but it is definitely a youth size. A few rough measurements of the shirt laying flat as pictured… bottom waist band to front collar 19 1/2″ bottom waist band to back collar 22 1/4″ armpit to armpit 13 3/4″ shoulder seam to shoulder seam 13″ sleeve length 5″ (each side measures a little differently) waist band 14 1/2″ across Please note that vintage items are sold “as is” and as found.  Items have not been cleaned.
